Geography Group One, atw <3

Yes, i freaking know i posted this before. (see la, go Bugis with high res cam never take photos)

Yep, dedication post.

Been a group since (date). Yep, pretty interesting experience. I mean, we really started out as nothing, especially with bmw. I mean we were really unfamiliar with one another. And for bmw to join our group, we had to overcome lots of shit (like yu cong). And we did, at one point in time get really fed up with having to convince yu cong not to join our group. Yes, many phone calls were made, many messages were sent. And all thanks to czb, the whole class knew of this shitty business. And well, we survived, and turned out to be geog group one. 

And yes, in the beginning, was really messed up. And it was sort of last minute decision to go for recce at Hort Park (i think we walked at least 5km). Yes, brings back loads of memories. It was well, really emo and we had our first debrief. And well, i admit i was kind of pissed off at our speed of production. And we had to do a freaking proposal. Yes, it took six hours and cjl wasn’t there. I think we held lots of “meetings” before it. Kind of reminded. And not to mention how we came up with this zai theme: bugis, where the past and present is in harmony. It seriously took us really long to come up with it. (most of the time we were just crapping) It was really good la (as in the time spent and effort put in).

Yep, had a long break from this project for MYEs. Then it ended and we started cramming words into our proposal. It was relatively easy for us cos i think we did it part by part. And we went for recce to Bugis (finally). EH IT WAS FUN LA (to me). And yes, bmw wasn’t emo down there so it was really good. And well, we did lots of stuff and walked a long way. But it really help in group bonding. Can tell our group was better. At least we do regard ourselves as a group. From four individuals to a group, not easy eh. And we came back and we had to rush out everything. Yes, i remember how i was late for submission. Even cjl submitted on time. But well, cos i was so pro, i could finish my part (and part of cjl’s) in fifteen minutes. Ok, lame shit, and i think through this, i really can manage my emotions better. I mean, yes, it is ok to feel upset, but work comes first. (all thanks to bmw being pissed -.-) So yes, really learnt a lot. Like i learnt how to manage my time well and how to think of nice descriptive phrases to add on to number of words (cliche, i know). 

Best lor, today. Epic rush for scanning the map. And last minute compilation. Not to mention the HUGE 44466 kb big file which couldn’t (for some reason) be sent to me. Had to even do some printing in school. But i think today we were really bonded, too bad it is the last day already. Had our last debrief today also. Kind of emotional (in my case). So yes, amazing how four individuals can become a group and work as a group and have fun together. Really learnt lots from group one. Thank you, Geography Group One.

(Since i have so much time to spare) I shall do the personal dedication.

Shu Chian: Best gossip partner throughout. Really epic how we rant on and on about this project and how we would never finish and wasting our time instead of doing it. Plus, who else to procrastinate to? And love how we complain over the amount of work we do while cjl slack one corner. Slow com also com. haha. Thanks for doing such a chio thematic map too (OUR’S IS THE BEST)

BMW: Thanks for being such a great group leader. Really have no idea why you joined our group but hope you had a fun time here. Yep, all thanks to you getting pissed with me i learnt that well, need to be more considerate. And sorry for having all the late submissions and going against your idea all the time. Haha, think you should be quite horrified after one time of being a leader and doing all the saikang. Really thanks for enduring my shit load of nonsense. Sorry for pestering you always. (pls don’t be so emo ._.) Freaking scary when you are pissed.

CJL: Yes, VICE LEADER. Known as the ultimate slacker in our group. Haha. Really had loads of entertainment with you here. And you are not that slack la. I mean come on, we all think that the LAN and arcade thing was very well done. It was so goddamn long (longer than mine leh) and really lots of effort put in. Yes, i mean i was kind of pissed at you for not doing the proposal. But yes, you made it up for creating a common topic for shu chian and i and a place for us to rant. Thanks for always being the person to contact leader despite having you lousy phone (we all know -.-) And yes, being the joker in our group. Thanks urh ma. 

Sorry for being such a shitty group member who demands too much and procrastinates a hell lot. But well, it turned out better than i expected. We all had fun, and really well learnt much. 

Unbelievably, i got kind of upset that geog project has to end. I mean honestly, like what cjl said: last time having debrief and lasting calling bmw leader. Bet ours is the only group who does debrief.

Really had a great time with you guys. Hope we do become a group again (not for geog pls) Through these ups and downs, we stay as one group, we become stronger. We have grown. And this marks the end of being Geography Group One. Much loved ♥
